I am looking to replace the shocks but can't afford the new $350 Works performance shocks. I want good quality and preferably rebuildable shocks. It's too bad I can't just rebuild these Elsinore shocks as they come apart but where can you find the seals??

I have seals for the Elsinore shocks including the fin type with 10mm or 12.5mm shafts. These shocks can be rebuilt with new seals and oil to work as good as they are capable. The Elsinore shocks tend to be undersprung and not long enough. If they had used heavier springs and made them an inch longer they would not be that bad. I use the 75 type CR250 shock which has the larger shaft and a single rather than double spring on my vintage CR250. They can work alright but are not nearly as good as Works, Progressive, or Ohlins. Contact me at mailto:elsinorestuff@qwest.net if you want seals.
