I am thinking about buying a mt250 elsinore that we found. I have been doing a lot or research on this bike and I'm wondering what I should plan on spending and what it might be worth cleaned up. The owner says its a 1972 and is very rare. My understanding is that this motorcyle wasnt put into production until 1973. Any info would be very helpful!

i forgot to add that the mileage is 1735 and the bike is complete minus rear tail lens

I would say it is a 74 based on the chrome exhaust heat shield the 75 had a black one. Don't believe the first one came out until late 73 which would have been a 74 model.
