Vintage Dirt Bike Q & A

Hey guys. Helping a friend restore a 1981 CR450, I tracked down basically everything that was missing, yet he says there's a gear missing? Prime drive gear is on, clutch basket is there, got the shifter and kickstarter shafts there but he says there's a spindle thru a bearing in the case right behind where the clutch basket goes but before the shifter and kickstarter.
