Post subject: | Rebuilding Original '74 CR125 Forks and shocks. |
I am looking to rebuild my '74 CR125 forks and shocks. I have found the rear shock seals and I just need to know what weight oil to use and how much to fill them. The front forks I want to replace the seals and was considering using the LeakProof brand fork seals. They have 2 options, standard and "moly-impregnated". Anybody have any experience with these seals? I am also looking to use a heavier fork spring, does anybody knoe of any available heavier springs for the early 1974 CR125? Lastly, I also need to know what weight oil and how much to use to fill forks after the rebuild. I have been looking for a 1974 CR125 shop manual but no luck yet. I have found owners manuals but I don't know if they provide the info I am looking for. Thanks! |
