Well the chain roller by the footpeg is totaly broken it doesnt even turn so the chain just slides over... it works... but then the chain roller by the sproket is ate away... the chain is literaly inside it... someone tightened the chain to tight .. the previos owners must have.. so i was wondering.. Can i just take the one off on the rear by the sproket.? until i can get some more money to buy some new ones? cuase right now it sounds like a tank

Post subject:  chain roller

this is what i use and have for years-go to your local john deere dealer and get a chain roller from a corn planter and get a bushing to fit in the center -youll need to find bolts and nuts to make it work but it makes a very cheap roller that cost less the $3.i can get teh John Deere part #s if you like-
