| Post subject: | Headlight Activation |
On my '74 MT250, when is the headlight activated, only when the engine is running or when the key is turned to the run position? Got the bike all rebuilt the only 2 things left to solve is the headlight and the front brake handle brake light activation. Thanks guys! |

Only when the engine is running. It is straight off the alternator stator wires and is AC so set your meter correctly. Also make SURE the resistor is wired up behind the headlight bucket just to the right side (throttle side). It is attached to the top triple tee. This keeps the expen$ive bulb from getting too high of a voltage and burning up. Rick |
