Has anyone restored a DG pipe? I need to clean up my old one and thought I read somewhere to use Scotch-brite and WD40. Should I clear coat it afterwards or just paint it black? Thanks! J |

Rub it down with purple industrial Scotchbrite and WD-40 or a similar water repellent. After washing, spray it down again with WD-40 so it does not rust. I rub a light coat of sewing machine oil all over when everything is dried off. Gives it a little shine. (Please) don't paint it black ![]() |

Hopefully for the Vintage Iron World Championships, but basically it keeps going to the back of the line after keeping the CR250R 1979 and CR480R race-ready, and finishing the Yamaha WR400F "upgrade". |
