Has anyone restored a DG pipe? I need to clean up my old one and thought I read somewhere to use Scotch-brite and WD40. Should I clear coat it afterwards or just paint it black? Thanks! J |

Rub it down with purple industrial Scotchbrite and WD-40 or a similar water repellent. After washing, spray it down again with WD-40 so it does not rust. I rub a light coat of sewing machine oil all over when everything is dried off. Gives it a little shine. (Please) don't paint it black

Hopefully for the Vintage Iron World Championships, but basically it keeps going to the back of the line after keeping the CR250R 1979 and CR480R race-ready, and finishing the Yamaha WR400F "upgrade". |
