Hi, I'm new to this forum and have a couple of 83 CR480's, one which runs and the other is a full restore project. I have lots of questions on these and have trouble getting good info, so hopefully someone can help. Let's start with an easy one, I'm looking for a OEM throttle tube and I see many on eBay that say they're for a CR480 but after going to the Motion Pro site they have no listing for it. They only have them for the 84 CR500. I really don't feel like paying $50 for a NOS one and would like to keep the bike original. |

Unfortunately the cost of nos parts for our older bikes goes up considerately when they are out of production. You may be able to find a descent used one on Ebay.
