I would be surprised if you want to use anything heavier than ATF or 10-weight... |

Sorry I just don't know, you will have to hope someone with the 125 speaks up. (The figures for a CR250R 1979 are 205 cc if you pump the forks out, and 275 cc if you re-fill them dry.) |

Hey Gomer, If you drained the fork tubes only, you'll need to replace it with 9.6oz or 285cc of oil in each leg. Now if you completely torn them down and cleaned them and they are dry, you'll need to refill it with 10ozs or 295cc of oil in each leg. Okay now they came with 5W fork oil in them, so 10W is okay, but I would not advise on 30W unless you weighed 460 lbs, and in that case I would suggest a CR480. ThatÃŒs what I use to get my big ass around the track. I hope this helped? ![]() |

Don, what fork and shock setup are you running on the CR480R? I am 180lbs before the gear goes on and my fat ass is round the front. ![]() |

Last time I checked Silkolene was pretty good oil, and I wouldn't refer to it as cheesy? ![]() ![]() |
