I need an air filter and the wire frame that supports it. I'd like to find a NOS part but I'll take a good used one if I can find one, thanks.

You need to contact http://unifilter.com/vintage.htm. They have a foam filter for 26.95. I bought one for my 74 MT250. Great service. Mine came with an internal frame. Works well. I wouldn't want to risk using any old NOS foam that will fall apart and get sucked in your engine.

Hi Kevin.
I had the same problem, (other than I had the cage and my air filter was just falling apart from age)and an employee at my local honda shop gave me an idea (as he was pushing me out the door)that may help. If you can get your hands on an old cage and filter you can salvage the rubber top and bottom, and replace the foam with filter foam from a shop vaccume cleaner. It is similar to a charcoal filter, and I was told that it will work reasonably well as long as you coat it with oil before you install it. This is not as good as original. But since no one makes a replacement, we sometimes have to be creative. Mine has worked well so far. Just keep it clean and oiled.
