Are the 73-74 elsinore wheels the same size for the 250s and 125s? I realize they are both - rear 18 and front 21, but it's the width I'm unsure of. The book calls for two different size tires for the 125 and 250. I'm only familiar with the 250's rim width. Are the 125 rims narrower than the 250s? |

Hey Keith, There is a difference in both, the 1974/75 125M had a 1.40 x 21 front rim and the 1974/76 250M had a 1.60 x 21 front rim. In 1976 the 125M sported 1.60 x 21's like it's big brother the 250M. If you want new rims however for your scooter youĂre going to have to replace them with 1.60 x 21 because they don't sell 1.40 x 21 anymore. As far as the rears go the 125M had 1.85 x 18 and the 250M had 2.15 x 18 Hope this helps. ![]() |

Thanks we're working on the new site as well, and it should be up soon. If you need anything give me a call, even if you have a tech question, and unlike some people out there you don't have to buy anything to talk to us. We are here to help. ![]() |
