I've heard someone hint at cutting the end off a shock to replace the seals but they were deliberately vague about it. I'll take a pipe cutter to one eventually to see for myself.

Please get some decent shocks, even if they are used. You'll be much happier than you will be using the "new" old ones.

yea 1 of my shocks fell apart while riding.. the top eye uncrewed it self and ever since then they have been really soft
