Does anyone have any suggestions on replacement shocks?My originials are shot and not rebuildable. ![]() |

I have bad news. Of the available (new) after-market replacements Works Performance were one of the more affordable. Call Ohlins and ask for a price for a laugh. I suggest you try and find a set of second-hand Fox Shox for between $150-200. They are cheap and easy to re-build yourself, and you can play around with the set-up for "free" without incurring rebuild charges and new parts. You need ones that are 17.5" in length. Try the swap meets here, Red Racer and Vintage Factory, and eBay. |

If you are not going to race your CR you might want to try Progressive shocks ($249 at Vintage Iron). Fox Shox and Works Perf are the least expensive choices for competition. ![]() J |

i've got progressive shocks, and they are great for my riding likes. i don't race, though. |
