Does anyone know if it possible to soften up a sunburned 74 CR125 front fender rubber mudflap that has spent too many years sitting out in the sun? I tried soaking it in oil for a few days but it is still rock hard. Coppertone?? Thx. :?:

I know that Vintage Iron in California has new soft reproductions that are very good. http://www.vintageiron.com

Buy a gallon of WD 40 Soak the flap in it for a few days. It will dry out again if you leave it in the sun for days and you will have to repeat this process. You could probally buy a new one for what it will cost to do this work

Your choice!

Buy a new one from Vintage Iron or AMS. I just bought one it was like $25.00 with the shipping. Looks nice.
