Vintage Dirt Bike Q & A

Hello everyone,
This is my first posting. I just bought a '74 MT250. The bike is in great shape considering the age Also almost all the parts are there.

One part I am missing is the pipe connecting the airbox to the carburator. My local Honda dealer says it is discontinued. Is there another model of bike that this part can be swapped off of?

I am also looking for the pipe that connects the carb to the cylinder. Is that a part that can be taken from another bike?

eBay has had a couple pass through the last month: What you do is look for people parting them out and if they don't list the part you need ask them via email to list it if they have it.

I have a really badly beat up intake manifold laying around. You wouldn't want to use it in a restoration but if you just want something to get it started/running I'll look for it.
