Hi everyone, What would be the best way to clean the tarnished cylinder fins of my MT250? Thanks Newfie |

I'm assuming you want to clean it up and repaint. A few ideas: 1) Use a sand blaster if you have access to one. 2) Take it to one of those furniture refinishing places and have them strip it. 3) Get a can of paint stripper from the local hardware store and do it yourself. Be sure to wear rubber gloves and eye protection as that stuff can be pretty nasty to the skin. Loren |

If you have it blasted, use glass beads on the alloy head. Leaves things nice and shiney; you might even consider shooting clearcoat over it and leaving it that way. Bob |
