can any one direct me in the right direction for any and all the information I can get on turning my 75 125m into a 100. What parts are needed? sleeve, what piston,pin,head and so forth.

As I recall, the only CR100M around at that period of time was the Jeff Ward bike, which was very expensive. I think it had a sleeved down CR125M motor in it. |

Correct the Jeff Ward CR100 was restored by Scot Steger of Vintage Factory & is now in the Prim museum. Check out http://www.vintage factory.com for another Hot CR100 restored by Scott. The CR100 was not a production model. DG racing sold a sleeved down kit to make a CR100. I have a DG Replica CR100 which I will post pics of as soon as I finish some fine details. I believe 1980 was the first year for the CR80. There was never a production CR100. CR100's and mini Elsinores of the 70's were built around sleeved down CR125 engines. The CR100's were hot in 1974 and '75, but by '76, the production YZ100 and RM100 started to take over. I was a Marty Smith/Honda fan who traded a '75 CR100 for a '76 YZ100C, but not because I wanted to. Winning was more important than wearing red. I recently saw an old picture of Scott Steger racing a '77 or '78 Fox RM125; I almost fell off my chair. Too bad the 76-78 CR125M2 wasn't a production CR100M2, with a slightly better 125. |

The CR100 was a sleeved down CR125, a few places made them, and it used a TM100 piston. I think the carb was generally a Mikuni 30mm. Yes DG did make a kit and also a So Cal shop that had racers at Saddleback, Indian Dunes, Escape County and the like called Harry's Cycle Sales out of the City of Orange. I've inquired about the sleeves and you can still get them made, but the TM100 pistons are hard to come by. :roll |

Hi , Yes i have about 4 mugen barrells and heads for the 125m which also are sleeved for a 100 but i was told these were used in kart racing thanks
