I found a Dupli-Color Engine Enamel that looks pretty darn close to Tahitian Red.
It is Dupli-Color Engine Enamel with Ceramic.
Part number: DE1632
Color name: Chrysler Industrial Red
The can says it's good to 500 degrees.
I have painted the engine, but have not started it yet.

I'm about ready to start powder coating my smaller parts. They're making powders good enough for exhausts and engines now along with some colors like chrome, nickel, etc.
