Hi guys, have been scouring the web for a "Marty Smith" red, white and blue style Vintage jersey. Only place I have found that carries them is yet to answer my enquiry about buying one. Any suggestions as to where they may be found - rarer than "hen's teeth" by the looks of it. thanks in advance |

Nothing against Metro - I got my "vintage" Honda pants from them - but I got my jersey from Vintage Iron. I seem to remember that the Metro jersey had a Honda wing emblem on it that I didn't want. I got may name and number put on the back by a Canadian company that sews tackle twill numbers on to ice hockey jerseys. The cloth finish, size and font are a good "period correct" match v the modern ID kits. Now you need the Bel-Ray, Electro, and FMF patches. I have the first and have scans to make the other two, but the minimum order is 200 units... |

I agree with Michael. I've purchased that jersey from Vintage Iron and Metro and the Metro is just a long sleeve T-shirt, the the Vintage Iron jersey is a real jersey, almost identical to the ones used in the 70's. |
