Does any one know if the CR250m1 had a rev limiter as i was talikng to a bike shop today and they said they think they did.

Nope - None. :D
The rev's are limited by the spring on the points. If the points float your rev's stop. Usually the rod went out the bottom end first. I love my first year CR for it's rev's. Whoot!!!
