Reeds do decompse over the years as well as wear (fray and crack) from usage. Try Fred Vertucci at [url]http://www.vperacing.com. Fred builds stock and custom reeds. He used to work at Boyesen Engineering. I'll bet he can replicate your reeds if you send him a sample. Buy a couple of sets if you can. OD |

Hey there, just wanted to know if you had any luck finding reeds for your Gemco. Just purchased a 73 cr with the reeds and pipe. Thanks, Jon and who did you get them from? |

no luck yet. I have tried going local ie Australia before I try Fred as the logistics around sending my only set of Reeds half way across the world is not pleasing - mind you sending them half way across Australia isn't good either. It does look like the best way to go is find somebody who makes them and then get yours copied??? Best of luck |

I would be worried to send them also , but could you make a copy of them out of thin cardboard and then also measure thickness of them and have some made from that- just an idea. Good luck, Gary |
