Bought a pretty decent Al tank for my M1 that I'll polish up before painting. I've never had good results polishing Al with jeweler's rouge or using progressively finer grades of sandpaper. After shooting w/clear coat, there's a gloss there but it looks nickel versus Chrome-like Al. Advice? Tks, Bob |

Try some "Flitz" aluminum polish for that chromey look ! OD |
