I read your other posts and was too perplexed. i.e. a carb with two mixture screws? One idle mixture and one screw to set carb slide stop is all I have seen.

I have a CR250 with aluminum tank. Your post about polishing it made me think I may want to go that way but I have leaks and dents to take care of before I can go there.

Inside of a muffler? In 40 years of fooling with bikes I have never cut apart a 2stroke muffler. I can talk about a Supertrap since I have one of those, but the only time I have seen what is inside a stock muffler is when it blows outside in a spray pattern of rust and glass fibers.
