| Post subject: | 1980 CR250 gear box leak |
Need opinions on repairing a hairline crack on gear box. I have tried the JB weld trick. It held for awhile but with the heating and cooling of the bike the stuff starting debonding after awhile. I would like a permanent fix. The real fix is to probably replace it but finding one will be difficult. Can the case be welded? I think it is made of magnesium. |
