Is it possible to put a 1977 MR 175 cylinder and piston on a 1977 CR 125?

Thanks,

Dan

The porting may not be the same. Compare the two cylinders but I bet they are not the same. I believe the piston is larger too.

Won't work. MR175 mounts the cylinder with long studs from the cases all the way thru the cylinder and head. CR125 mounts with standard shorts studs just to the cylinder. Unless you pulled the long studs out of a MR175 set of cases and put them in the CR125 cases it would be undoable and impractical.
