Will The 1979 Mugen ME125 kit bolt up and work on a 1980 CR125 engine?

I know the frames and exhaust ports are different, but I mean if you were to use the kitted 1980 engine in the 1979 frame.

The 79 top end will bolt right on to the 80 bottom end it is the same only the 80 motor has bigger main bearings.
