I just bought a MT250. I will be reading a lot of old posts. My pink slip states year as 1973. The head tube date is 8/73. The bike came stock with CR Aluminum rims, with the MT hubs . Cool fun bike, although it is not a powerhouse. Good thing I only weight 145lbs |

The bike is in great shape, for not being restored. A few things changed, the pipe and levers. Everything else seems stock. I have the stock pipe. Always garaged. I bought it to ride to work and run around town. Take it out trail riding maybe. My other bike is a Harley. I forgot how cool a 2 cycle sounds. Have a look. ![]() ![]() |

Just a guess but the finish/shape of those rims/hubs look like they can be from a 250XL or 350XL. |
