I just aquired a fairly complete '76 CR125 that had been in storage for some years. I had this identical bike in the '70's, so I'm considering a total restoration project (hobbies to keep a guy young!). First order of business is to find a shop manual, and I note there is a few, Clymer, etc, etc. Obviously, I want to get the most detailed & accurate one with specs, tolorences, etc. Which manual would be the best one to track down and is still easily available? (I'm itching to get going). Thanks in advance! |

I prefer Clymer to Haynes. Lot's of people like the original factory service manuals and I think they can sometimes be found on CD. |

I just purchased the 73-80 clymer 125-250 elsinore from amazon in "almost new" condition for $10 plus shipping. I will get it by next friday the 7th or whatever day that is. they have another one for 10.50 if i remember correctly. if you can wait until next week, let me know what info you need, I can copy it and mail or fax it to you if you want. |
