Hello everyone! I just bought a MR 250 with intentions of doing some Historic cross country racing..But the bike was all original and really to nice to tear up..So I bought a second one to race It runs but needs some TLC!..My question is..Has anyone ever installed a MT flywheel into a MR..Are they the same size? or is the MT bigger than the MR?.Can I use the MR coil with the MT flywheel? or do I need the MT coil? Any help would greatly be appreciated!.This is a Awesome site..Keep up the good work!...Thanks Stacey |

The flywheels should be the same for MR250s and MT250s. I used a MT250 mag for my MR250 for awhile until I found the correct mag on ebay. The MR has two windings the MT has 3. Only one winding each was for the points. The other(s) were for lights. |

Thanks for the info!. I guess I have a spare flywheel now..cant ever have enough elsinore parts! |
