Bought what I thought was an 1975 CR250 Elsinore :? But noticed the tank still had some green paint around the fill...The pink slip says 1975, but the serial numbers seem to indicate 1973-74.. What do I have :?:

ID..CR250M1017XXX

Looks like a 74' to me. the 75' had the shocks moved fowards and an up pipe.

You have a 1974 for sure! 1975 tank also has a cut out on the left side for the up pipe.

The Huskys an 1983 500XC with a 500CR motor..Took a year to restore from junk yard condition..Too nice to ride or race, so I decided to try this Elsinore.. :roll:

One other quick question..Does anyone rebuild the factory rear honda shocks? one appears to have a slight leak..Thanks
