Has anyone tested these pipes out? I read some posts that talked about WHO sold them but I'm not looking for that info. I'd like to know if anyone has compared them. I've heard the DG actually reduces performance but that might have been from someone biased. As for the Profprm, no one has really said how they perform so I'd like to know if anyone else has experience with these pipes versus stock. Also if you dont mind sharing the spec on your bike plus jetting that would help.

I am trying to tune my 78 YZ250 and am looking to get a new pipe on it as the one that came from the Nth owner is dented.

dg is for 79 only. It will fit on the 78 with a custom made bracket below the gas tank. It will melt the side number plate a bit and will stick out alot more than the stock pipe . It will burn the crap out of you. I just picked up a 78 with a 79 pipe on it. The pipe is new but Im gonna sell it and buy the pro form.
The pro forms seem to be a newer design than the DG.
