Just picked up a 78 YZ250 - cracked case in front of the countershaft sprocket... Anyone have any sources for a left hand side case or any parts for this bike? I'll be posting in the want/for sale area but the reason I'm posting here... Any info on the 78 YZ250? I'm well aware of how good a bike the 80/81 YZ250s were, but have no clue on the 78. Any weak spots I should be watching out for or any easy mods? First things first - left hand side case. Thanks for any tips. Mike |

WOW-WOW-WOW... life can really side track you! Look at the date on this when I got the 78 YZ250... it's been a couple years worth of looking for a case (just found one hope it's as good as they say it's already enroute). And wow... I thought I would have been riding and racing this bike right after I got it - but life got in the way! I didn't realize I'd had this bike sitting for so long. Unbelievable. Mike |
