| Post subject: | 1980 YZ465G 3R5 Exhaust and rear suspension info sought |
Anyone have any 1980 YZ465G exhaust parts for sale? If there are any 465 owners who can advise me of what other bikes had the same exhaust, I would appreciate it. I may just get new DG system, but I would prefer to keep this beast as original as possible. I am also looking for information on the rear shock assemby both OEM and aftermarket. |

I have a 1980 YZ465 and a 1983 YZ490. I was looking at the exhausts and they look identical, including the silencer on the '80 to the pic of the '83 in the manual. I have a DG silencer on the 490. I know the 490 jug is just a punched out 465 and they look the same too. What info are you needing on the shock? Lots of info already in the Clymer manual. |
