| Post subject: | New Owner of a 1989 YZ490: Looking for Parts/ Plastics |
Hey guys, I'm new to this board and I'm hoping you guys (someone) can shed a little light on my bike for me. First, I've found a few places that still carry some of the OEM parts for the bike but not all parts, which was expected. I've also exhausted my search ideas for finding plastics. Its the Red/White version and I'd like to change it over to the Yellow/ Black version but I can't hardly find any plastics for sale for it and I'm not looking for NOS. I'm going to race this in the Florida Trail Riders Hare Scramble series in the Evolution class so she's not going to be a trailer queen. Any help would be great. Also, is there anywhere I can download an owners manual for standard specs and such? Thanks in advance! |

Have you tried DC Plastics? I've purchased all new plastic for my bikes from them. Quickly searching I found the front and rear fenders. It's a start... http://www.dcvmx.com/xcart/product.php? ... 282&page=2 |
