79 MX 175.ARE THEY PRESSED IN OR JUST STUCK FROM ALL THE YEARS?? SHOULD I KEEP BANGING ON THEM?

dwil, It is not pressed in. I am sure you have tried some kind of penetrating oil. It more than likely is just real stuck. Try and little bit of heat and then bang on it. If that doesn't work you may have to cut it out. I have done that on CZ's and Husky's that were stuck. :(

is it stuck at the mono shock/swing arm area or is it stuck at the frame/swing arm area? there is really nothing fancy on these at all there.

only thing you can do is heat the area and hit it with plenty of penetrating oil like PB Blaster or Kroil oil or something like that,tap the bolt or pin and work it back and forth.

heating it with a heat gun then apply the penetrating oil and allow it to soak for a while then attempt removal again.

patience is key here!

this one is the very notorious bear to remove,there is a flat area to use channel locks or a vice grip to get a hold of the pin with.

be careful not to mushroom the end of that pin so it will make removal even more difficult.
