Im a proud owner of a 69 tc120 I purchased the bike not running for $50 so not a whole lot invested. I cleaned it up and decided to see if it would run. Fired up ran great actually. So took off gas tank cleaned it with clr to get that rust out of the tank cleaned the pet cock ect.. I cleaned the carb and this bike has the 2 cycle oil tank so i was going to delete the tank and pulled the hose and pluged it. Now the bike wont run at first it would run at idle only now not even that. It will run great if i put fuel down the cylinder or shoot carb cleaner threw the carb once that burns out it dies. I re hooked the oil tube back up thinking i messed something up there but still no go im guessing my carb is not getting enough fuel I set the floats to the point where the gas was flowing out the overflow so i dont think ist that any help please thanks |
