 Post subject: Suzuki RM125B 1977 spark

Hello my 1977 RM125 has a blue ,but week spark.I cleaned the ground contacts around the coil and also removed and cleaned the stator.I read about a primary and secondary part of the stator.Is there a way to tell which part of the stator maybe week?? thanks john

John,

Are you sure it is the primary / secondary (pulsar) coils on the stator plate? I have seen more CDI units go bad than the stator plates. You could get the Ohm meter spec's from Tony @ Vintage Suzuki if you want to test them.
