Hey, All!!! Does anyone know if there are any later model Suzuki (or possibly other brand) forks adaptable to a '78 & 1/2 RM 250? For my '79 Honda CR250, I've adapted a set of '87 43mm Showas. A really good friend has the '78.5 RM250 I mentioned above, and is wondering if he can do something similar? Thanks in advance for any help y'all may be able to offer.... Best Fishes, Jimmie |

I have a front end from an 83 RM250 on my 78 RM400. I suspect there should be little difference between the your 78 1/2 and my 78. The forks, like 83 CR250/480 are 43mm with double leading shoes. |

I have heard that the '84 RM250 front forks(43mm) w/double leading shoe front brakes are the way to go for older RM's. I have not tried this setup, but from what I understand, it's a stem swap and bolt-on deal. If anyone has actually done this, please let me know the details and any trouble you may have encountered. Thankx. |
