New to the list; long-time fanatic for '82 RM250s. Got a ride on one when I was 13-- and it made me understand the purpose of religion.
I'm finally getting one from this gentleman in OH, and when I get it back to Texas I'll have the front end to converted to 43-mm forks/disk off an '87 RM250 parts bike. Will be using the Rage billet triple clamps to complete the deal.
Have any of you ever performed a similar modification? And for the sake of anonymity, have any of you ever dealt with this individual selling the Z before? Please, feel free to call my cell at (310) 498-7401 (James).
