The throttle on the '79 CR250R is ok, but what is the best repalcement to keep the cable close to the bars? The Gunner Gasser? The Motion Pro Vortex? If going with one of those, what cable works best because the stock cable seems to be too long for those throttles.

What are other guys doing?

I run a Motion Pro Gunnar Gasser replica, but also have one of their Vortex throttles in the tool box. Terry cable is the place to go for the cable; you tell them how long, what the throttle is, what the carb is, and they do the rest.

Thanks, I've dealt with TerryCable before as well as Motion Pro....they're both excellent.
