Does anyone know if the 1975 MR175 Clutch is compatible with the 1976. I have a broken basket and want to replace it, but the best deal available is for a 1975 clutch. I would think all of the parts would be compatible, but the model compatablity tool says it is not.

All years of MR175 and MT125 use the same 22100-361-020 helical-gear clutch basket. The '74-'78 CR125M basket (which I use in all my MR175 motors) will work too if you also replace the primary gear with the CR one; the motor revs a little quicker with a bit more gear whine.
