Hi, I have a stock 1974 Honda CR 250 Elsinore. The prescribed spark plug is NGK B9EV, but I was wondering if anybody have some experience from using other NGK spark plugs. For instance BR9EIX, BP9ES or also warmer 7 or 8 plugs (cold weather or "cruising" as opposed to racing speed).

Rolf,
I have super good luck with just the B9ES. You can run the EG or EV, but I believe those are just the tang type (material and shape). I would just stick with the less expensive. Don't use a BP, "P" stands for projected- its a longer inner electrode- they can stick down too far. I have ran the BR plugs before such as a BR9ES- it adds a resistor for less electrical interference, Nothing your cool dirt bike needs.

Cheers,
Matt
