Any tricks or tips on getting these things out.They seem to be permanently fused to the swingarm and break off in little peices. :?:

That is how most come out. Just beat them out the best you can and try to not damage the inside of the swingarm.
You can lightly use a brake hone after these are out if needed. LIGHTLY or the new (hopefully bronze) ones will be loose.

Your best bet is to use heat, take a propane torch and heat around the outside area of the bushings for about two minutes or so, then take a socket close to the diameter of the bushing and put an extension on it. Seat the socket to the side of the outer edge of the bushing and tap it with a plastic mallet, it should come out very easy. I use this process every time but with a special aluminum tool, but the socket method works great to. Remember to use the same process of heat when installing the new bushings. :mrgreen:

Don,I got them out today...After some heat (propane torch)and a little prodding with a brass punch and hammer, the damn things finally came out.Thanks for the tip.eL :D

Hey, I have a 74 cr250. Got the bushings out easily. They were extremely brittle. Where did you order your new bushing from? Cost? I ordered from Red Racer but no response.
