I have a '79 CR125R with a stock muffler. Does the stock muffler include a 'spark arrestor'?
And more generally, what is a spark arrestor? I am looking to get up to the trails soon at the National Forest north of Houston and think I need one.

Thanks!

No the stock pipe or silencer does not have a arrestor. Its amounts to a screen that keeps any sparks from coming out the pipe and possibly becoming a fire hazard. Cobra makes a arrestor that slides over the stock pipe. Google cobra spark arrestors
