Hey Dogger,

I've done 18 Elsinores so far. I'm finishing up 3 more right now. I've stock piled quite a few parts so as not to slow down my production. I have pipes, wheels and tanks ready to go so I can turn these bikes around in 3-4 weeks. I don't know how long I'll keep selling them on E bay. I'm getting orders from my E bay exposure and a lot of buyers come back to buy either a 125 or 250 for a matching set.

These bikes are increasing in value monthly! I just saw a 125 & 250 at a local Honda dealeship that went for $22,000 for the pair! Those bike are not as nice as ours.

You are right. The part variations are "fun". Like you pointed out on the carbs. At leat two different looks as far as I can tell. Mag covers also two types.

Just a note: I'll be racing a 1979 CR 125 & 250 at the Perris ,Ca. AHRMA event on April the 20th. Bike #21G

Again, great work!

Dan

Cables are another example of changes made during production. As far as the covers, Honda may have ran out of flat covers and had some already in production for the 75s and put them on there. The 75/76 covers work very well on the 73/74 and is what I have on the bike I will ride/race. I finally found a NOS flat cover for my display bike. The early cases are quite different also. I have one set that the numbers are in a line compared to the others that the numbers are stacked. Billet cranks were in early ones also. I have been finding that most of the CR250Ms I own have 36mm carbs. I thought all of them came with 34mm and the 36s were an option. Maybe everybody bought the 36s back in the day, I know I did. It's easy to spot as the Kehin logo is bigger and on the left side of the 36s and it's on the right side of the 34s.
