Where is the best place to buy Main bearings for a 73 cr250. I have noticed some cheap ones on ebay, but I would prefer NOS.

I was just checking into this too. It apears from an online lookup sytem that all of the bearings and seals for the lower end are still available in new stock from Honda. New stock OEM parts should run you about $120 or so. Also, the bearings are all numbered and appear to be normal bearings like you'd find at a bearing store. The OEM cranks seals on mine were still air tight after 35 years, so I am definately sticking with OEM there if they are indeed still available from Honda.
Enjoy,
Jon

The seals were still in stock at Honda two weeks ago, so I bought some spares before they are gone. I used aftermarket bearings, just be sure you get the C3 (or maybe C4, can't remember) clearance to be safe.

Yes, I knew you could still get seals and some of the bearings, but I was not sure if you could still get the main bearings. Can you still get the clutch arm needle bearing?

I wasn't able to get the needle bearing for the clutch arm. I will be needing one on the one I'm building now and was going to try a bearing house. If anyone knows of another model that would work, I would be thankful for that info. I could turn out a brass bushing for the clutch arm, but it may not work as smooth.

no problem, it´s standard size HK 1612. the seal is 16x22x3, you can get both in a bearing shop.
you can get the mainbearings 63/28 C3 there too. it´s the same quality as original but much cheaper.
