Hi,I have just bought a CR250 here in Australia in roadracing trim and it`s frame No.is CR250M 1000215,all the info I have seen states that they started at 1000216.It was obtained by someone working for Honda at the time and is fitted with a race kit from a CB350R.It has no engine No.and looks like it has never had one.Any ideas? Thanks Peter.

I think you are probably right about the frame serial number. Maybe a frame built before production began. As far as the engine case serial number, I don't believe replacement cases or engines have serial number stamped on them. So maybe an earlier owner purchased a new set of cases or a new engine from Honda somewhere along the way.
