i just did my 79 cr125 they should be the same. this is how i do it and there are other simpler ways. anyway block the bike up and take the front wheel off. then drain the oil out of the forks, little bolt near the bottom of the fork leg. then remove the big nut at the top, there will be spring pressure on these but not much. then remove the allen bolt at the very bottom of the leg were the axel fits, don't loose the copper washer. loosen the bolts on the triple clamp and slide the fork legs out, you can now pull the bottom part off of the upper tube. on my 125 there is a wiper seal first you can just pop it out with a screwdriver. then theres a wire snap ring that need to be removed then pull the seal out. wash everything with solvent or something then reasemble. put a little oil on the seals before you put the tubes in. you can put a little sealer on the allen bolt at the bottom if you want, but i've never seen one leak. make sure you get it tight . you'll be riding in no time
