My son just got a Honda CR 125 it had no kill switch, we installed one and it still wouldn't shut off. We are wondering why? Is there a way to get into the CDI box to see if it's a faulty wire or do you have to replace the whole box? :D If anyone has any information that could help that would be great! I just don't feel safe with him riding with out a kill switch. Thanks to all who can maybe help me out.

You could have a faulty wire or your ground point might not be good. This happened to me and the cause was just a bad grounding point. make sure the area is clean and makes a good clean connection.
