Hi Everyone,

I've recently acquired a 1973 MT250. I bought the Clymer manual which is good to an extent, but I have some questions that I was hoping someone could help me out with.

The oil pump adjuster cable - one end obviously goes to the oil pump, but where does the other end connect to? I've been trying to see this through pictures, but havent had much luck.

Owner's Manual for an MT250, I found one here for an MT125, but was wondering if anyone had one for an MT250 as they are quite helpful.

Thanks for your help everyone!

Kyle

From the throttle, a single cable runs under the tank, then splits in two; one of the new cables goes to the oil pump, the other to the carb. It's a PITA to lube.

These cables come up on eBay from time to time. If I had an MT250 I was planning to keep for a while, I would definitely pick one up.

I don't have an MT250 owner's manual, only the Clymer Honda Elsinores manual ('73 - '77).

Ray

Hey Ray,

Thanks a lot for the information. Looks like I'll have to pick one up since I plan on re-learning how to ride.

Cheers!

Kyle
